A few steps from Volterra lies the fortress of Montecatini Val di Cecina. Built in 1613, it replicates the outline of the tower of Montecatini Val di Cecina. Once part of a farm, the property now includes an imposing villa, a spacious annex and a shed, in addition to olive groves and fruit trees.
The villa has a unique structure with original buttresses and covers an area of approx. 430 m². On the ground floor there are, among other things, two living rooms and a small church. The 1st floor has internal and external access and offers another living room with fireplace, kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The external staircase leads to the attic with 6 rooms and a small terrace. The interior fittings are convincing with typical regional elements, some renovations are needed.
The annex comprises an apartment with kitchen, living room and bedroom on the ground floor and storage rooms on the basement. The shed offers with 400 m2 a lot of space for different uses.
The view over the hills to Volterra is incomparable, a magnificent Tuscan landscape with rolling hills, cypresses and wheat fields.
